Appeal after brick thrown through Catterick Garrison kitchen window

A mum has issued for information after someone threw a brick through her kitchen window last night.

The incident happened in Rosebud Way, on the Woodside Chase estate, at about 9.40pm.

Mandy Louise, 46, said her and her daughter have been extremely shaken by the attacked, despite police telling her the culprits probably got the wrong house.

She said her 15-year-old daughter already suffers from anxiety after witnessing the London Bridge terror attacks last year and the incident has left her terrified.

She said: “I keep myself to myself, I don’t party, I don’t bother anyone, I don’t make enemies and yet my kitchen window at the front of the house received a brick through it.

“The police have said this is a mistaken house attack and they got the wrong house or number.

“I now have a petrified daughter who already suffers from anxiety.

“I know things are replaceable but it make you very scared of your own surroundings, especially when you know you haven’t done any wrong to anyone.”

Mandy said a small black car was seen in the area at the time of the incident.

She has urged anyone with information to contact the police.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said no arrests had yet been made in relation to this incident.

Anyone with information should call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference NYP-22112020-0463.
