A lamb was rescued from a 30ft pothole by members of Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team today.
The team was called out to the incident in Arkengarthdale.
The team posted on Facebook: “Lots of lambs around this Easter.

“A small team abseiled in and recovered the lamb to safety.”
