A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car near Richmond on Saturday.
The incident happened at about 3.07pm on the A6108 near Downholme Bridge.
The motorcyclist, who has a pillion passenger, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The pillion was treated at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
