Premier Meats launch new market village

Premier Meats in Colburn are launching a new market village every Sunday and is relaunching the menu in its bistro Rare.

The market will run from 9am to 4pm and will feature a range of stalls.

The stalls will include work and safety wear, mobile phone accessories and clothing.

Mark Whittaker said: “The problems caused by the roadworks at White Shops and on the A1 have been difficult for us and other businesses in Catterick Garrison and Colburn.

“The work at White Shops is now complete and on Monday another four-mile stretch of the A1 will be finished.

“We wanted to celebrate this with some exciting changes at Premier Meats and the launch of the market village every Sunday is one of them.

“Everyone is invited to come along and see what’s we have to offer.”

Premier Meats are also changing the menu in Rare Bistro.

Sunday roast lunch with a starter or desert and a glass of wine or beer is now £10.95, which the children’s Sunday lunch £4.50 with free juice.

They are also offering a luxury breakfast with lots of toast, fresh orange juice, barista crafted coffee or teas for £10.

On Mondays and Tuesday they are offering a stripped back menu with full breakfast all day for £5 and light bites and snacks from £3.50.

Lattes are £2 and tea is £1 with free biscuits all day.
