A Richmond bank is to launch a co-working hub for independent workers.
Barclays in Richmond Market Place is launching a co-working hub, which will be available to both customers and those who bank elsewhere.
Natasha Bateman, from Barclays in Richmond, said: “At Barclays Richmond, we are looking to provide a free co-working community space.
“We invite all home workers, business people and entrepreneurs to come and work from our premises in our newly decorated co-working office.
“This office provides a comfortable space to sit, free Wifi, printing capability, toilet facilities and we will even buy the cuppa.
“This is a massive opportunity for local people to reconnect with the community and network with like-minded individuals.
“We are ideally located in the heart of Richmond town Centre and will welcome all new visitors whether they have a banking relationship with us or not.”
The hub launches on Wednesday, December 18 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Users will need to bring a bank card, driving licence or passport to register on their first visit.
Staff will be welcoming guests with light refreshments and the chance to have a look around.
