Thousands of visitors are expected at the Dales Festival of Food and Drink in Leyburn over the weekend.

Forecasts of sunshine have raised hopes the event could attract even more than the 6,000 people who attended last year.

The festival will again be held in Leyburn town centre.

More than 80 stalls will be located in Leyburn’s Market Square all showcasing the food and drink products available in the area.

There will also be craft and gift stalls Leyburn Methodist Hall and Thornbrough Hall, as well as live music, performances, cooking demonstrations and a vintage bus.
