Tickets back on sale for Joel Dommett performance

Joel Dommett will appear next month at the Georgian Theatre Royal.

When Joel Dommett – star of popular TV reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – announced that he was appearing at Richmond’s Georgian Theatre Royal next month, tickets sold out within just a few hours.

However, the comedian has unexpectedly had to re-schedule the show from Saturday 20 May to Friday 5 May, which has meant that some tickets are now available for sale on a first-come-first-served basis.

Since reaching the finals of I’m A Celebrity at the end of last year Dommett has been catapulted into the public gaze and the 2017 tour of his solo show, Joel Dommett: LIVE, has sold out in the majority of venues.

Everyone who booked tickets for the original show at The Georgian Theatre Royal has now been contacted but unfortunately some people are unable to make the new date, resulting in the release of a limited number of tickets.

These are priced at £15 each (£10 for concessions) and are available only from the Box Office on 01748 825252.

“We do apologise to anyone who can no longer attend the show,” said theatre chief executive Clare Allen.

“It was due to circumstances totally beyond our control and we appreciate that some people will be very disappointed.

“Dommett is one of the UK’s most energetic and exciting young comedians and, of course, he has become a household name since his impressive and engaging performance in the jungle. We are really looking forward to hosting the show at the Theatre and expect these re-released tickets to sell very quickly,” she added.

Joel came onto the comedy scene in 2007 and has never looked back.

After receiving great critical acclaim for his Edinburgh Fringe shows and being crowned five-time winner of the Comedy Café Competition, he has gone on to appear in numerous television shows including; Impractical Jokers (BBC3), Reality Bites (ITV2), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Bring The Noise (Sky1s) and has performed in acting roles for Popatron (BBC2) and Skins (E4).
