An 11-member ukulele band from Wensleydale will be playing at Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre on Yorkshire Day on Thursday.
Bunting will also be up at the three other National Park Centres – in Malham, Hawes and Grassington – as well as at the partnership centre in Reeth.
People will be invited to take part in a Yorkshire Day quiz at the centres while enjoying free tasters of local cheese and crackers.
The ukulele band will play from around 11 o’clock at the Aysgarth Falls centre.
Local landscape artist Lynn Ward will also be setting up in the foyer to speak to people about her work, while a ‘Go Wild!’ event on flowers will run for children from 10am to 5pm.
Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority member champion for promoting understanding, Judith Donovan, said: “More than a quarter of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is in Cumbria or Lancashire, but that mustn’t stop us making the most of Yorkshire Day.
“Here is an opportunity to celebrate Yorkshire’s people, landscapes and produce.
“There will be plenty to discover at our national park centres.”
