A gamekeepers’ meal has raised £13,000 with the Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team among the beneficiaries.
The Celebration of Game, Dinner & Dance took place on Saturday at the Wensleydale Creamery.
The event was sponsored by the Creamery who provided the venue for the evening, and L&A Dent Game Dealers who provided all of the game for the menu.

Each table was also sponsored by the following local businesses, including Bainbridge Vets, Gilsans of Yorkshire, The CB Inn, L&A Dent, PA Blackburn Ltd, Carter Jonas, Metalube (Rob Brown), Emmett (Colin Bailey), Owens Nutrition Ltd and RW Brown Agricultural Engineer.
More than 100 diners were treated to a five course menu featuring local game.
More than £13,0oo was raised on the night.
The money will be split between Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team, Prostate Cancer UK, the National Gamekeepers Organisation and the Yorkshire Dales Moorland Group.
