The organisers of the Christmas Tree Festival at Richmond Methodist Church are looking for people interested in sponsoring a tree at this year’e event.
The Christmas Tree Festival runs from December 1 to December 9.

The Richmond Town Christmas Trail, ‘Follow the Star!’ also finishes at the Methodist Church.
There will be 20 stars in shop windows around Richmond for people to find and there are prizes on offer.
Jenny Ash, from the church, said: “We’re looking for individuals, groups, schools or businesses to decorate a tree.
“£10 gets them a real 5ft tree, which they can decorate on any theme – the more homemade decorations, the better.
“Last year we had a tree with glass decorations, a ‘geometree’, and a tree full of knitted angels.”
If anyone wants to decorate a tree, they can email Jenny at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All money raised goes to local charities.
