The A1 northbound has reopened after an accident near Scotch Corner.
The crash involved two HGVs.
Firefighters from Richmond were called to help paramedics with an injured man.

The road was blocked between the A6138 at Catterick and the A66 junction at Scotch Corner.
Highways England traffic officers attended the scene to clear debris from the road.
