A66 reopens after three LGVs involved in accident

The A66 has reopened after three light goods vehicles were involved in an accident.

The collision near Ravensworth occurred at about 4.15pm.

A man suffered minor leg injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Nobody was trapped.

A fire crew from Richmond attended the scene to help with scene safety.

Highways staff were called to deal with a small fuel leak.

Both lanes were closed while the wreckage was removed.
