
The A66 trans-Pennine route has reopened westbound after a crash involving a HGV.
The road was closed at the snow gates at Bowes to allow for the vehicle to be removed.
There was also a two-lane closure on the eastbound carriageway.
The accident occurred near to Vale House Farm.

Due to an earlier RTC, the A66 will be closed Westbound at the Snow Gates, Bowes, Barnard Castle.
There is also a Lane 2 Closure in place for the Eastboud Carriageway.
