
The A66 has reopened after a lorry left the road and shed its load in a field this afternoon.
The road was closed in both directions while the vehicle was recovered.
The collision occurred near the East Layton, close to the Mainsgill farm shop.
The incident caused major delays with traffic stuck for several hours while the vehicle was recovered.
