The A684 has reopened following a serious collision.
The incident happened this morning between Aysgarth and Swinithwaite.
It is understood it involved a car and a motorbike.
Police and paramedics attended the scene.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

No surprise another motorcyclist involved in another accident on A684 . The way some of these idiots ride bikes around The Dale’s is plain stupid .
And that same charge can’t be levelled at some of the car drivers? It may be worth awaiting details of the accident before allocating responsibility?
