A road was closed today following a serious accident.
Tunstall Road between the A1 and Tunstall was shut by police.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics and a Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter attended the scene.

Through traffic was stopped although villagers were allowed to pass through to get home.
