Acclaimed Richmond artist Kate Green is exhibiting some of her work at The Station this month.
Another Moment in Time is described as an exhibition of “dramatic and highly detailed still-life and botanical paintings in watercolour”.
Organisers say it is a rare opportunity to see a collection of more than 40 of Kate’s hyper-realist watercolours, most of which have never been seen before.
Hannah Fretwell, from The Station, said: “A sequel to the successful solo exhibition A Moment in Time at the McGuinness Gallery, the work strives to find the beauty of everyday objects in dramatic atmosphere and light.
“Kate draws on the Vanitas tradition with a gentle reminder to grasp the moment as nothing lasts forever, but above all, paints for the pure joy of it.”
Kate is a member of the Royal Miniature Society, the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists and a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists – frequently selected to hang in the Mall Galleries, London, and listed in Who’s Who in Art.
The exhibition runs on the mezzanine floor until March 30.
