North-East singer songwriter Jez Lowe will return to Swaledale next Saturday, April 29, for a solo gig at Reeth Memorial Hall.
Over the past four decades, Jez Lowe has been one of the UK’s busiest singer-songwriters, playing for audiences the world over, either solo or with his long-time band The Bad Pennies.
He has taken his songs of his native North-East to concerts and festivals all across Europe, Canada and the USA, as well as building a sizeable following in Australia and New Zealand.
Along the way he has gathered a long list of awards and nominations, including from the BBC Folk Awards and the Sony Radio Awards and has made many contributions to the on-going BBC Radio series The Radio Ballads.
Tickets, £14 in advance (£16 on the door), under 16s half price, are on sale at Reeth Post Office or contact John Little 01748-884759.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
