Renowned actor, writer, and broadcaster Sir Tony Robinson will be coming to the Garden Rooms at Tennants, Leyburn, later this year.
An Evening with Sir Tony Robinson will be staged on September 23.
Sir Tony will be looking back at his life as a child actor, his big break as Baldrick in Blackadder, 20 years of Time Team and beyond.
Following his roles in Blackadder, and as the Sherriff of Nottingham in Maid Marian and her Merry Men, which he also wrote, Sir Tony has become a household name.
He will also be recalling his work on Channel 4’s Time Team, and his career as a writer having written 25 books for children, his autobiography No Cunning Plan and numerous factual books including Archaeology is Rubbish – a Beginners Guide, which he co-wrote with Time Team colleague the late Professor Mick Aston.
