A man was taken to hospital by air ambulance yesterday morning after falling ill.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service and Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to help an elderly patient in Fremington, near Reeth, Swaledale.
The man was treated at the scene by a doctor from Reeth Medical Centre before being flown to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.
