An academic will discuss her research on railway families in Westmorland at an online event tonight.
Dr Karen Griffiths will be joining the Wensleydale Railway tonight at 7pm to discuss her research.
The study has been undertaken as part of the Westmorland Dales Landscape Partnership which seeks to unlock and reveal the hidden heritage of the Westmorland Dales, enabling more people to connect with, enjoy and benefit from this inspirational landscape.
The project is a partnership between Friends of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority and has been made possible thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and other partners.
