Amateur dramatics group appeals for volunteers to use new tools

Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society (RADS) has received funding to replace its old stock of tools.

The group received a grant from the Area Partnership Fund from the former Richmondshire District Council to replace their old stock of tools with modern equipment and safety devices.

The society performs three full length plays a year, as well as participating in two one-act festivals all of which need a set.

The new tools will help the society construct sets more easily.

A RADS spokesperson said: “The society would welcome anyone wishing to help make use of the new equipment and participate in a friendly and enjoyable activity.”
