American four piece band, Laura Cortese and the Dance Cards, perform in Swaledale next month during a UK tour which takes them the length of the British Isles, from Shetland to Dorset.
Frontwoman, songwriter and fiddler Laura is joined by Valerie Thompson on cello, Jenna Moynihan on fiddle and Emma Smith on bass to produce a unique sound which has been described as ‘post-folk that seriously rocks’.
The concert is on Friday, August 10, at Reeth Memorial Hall; doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £13 in advance, £15 on the door, under 16s half price, and all profits are for the upkeep of the hall.
