Animal charity works with Pets At Home to raise money and awareness

The Bunny Burrows animal charity will work with Pets At Home over the next fortnight to raise money and awareness.

The Richmond centre normally holds an annual Hot Cross Bunny fundraiser at the Town Hall in Richmond.

However, the hall was double booked this year.

Instead, owner Gwen Butler and other volunteers will be at Pets At Home in Catterick Garrison over the next two weekends.

Gwen said: “We will be there on April 13 and 14 and then Good Friday, the Saturday and Easter Monday.

“We will be on hand to talk to people about looking after rabbits and guinea pigs, offering help and advice.”

There will also be a raffle to raise money for the rescue centre.
