Le Cateau Primary School held its annual Bike Day last week and it was another great success.
The children arrived early at 8.15am on their bikes and scooters and received a bacon or sausage sandwich.
They also received a raffle ticket for a chance of winning a £100 voucher for Bank Cycles in Catterick Garrison.
There was a range of activities such a cycle disco, grand prix, obstacle course, bike art project and a visit from Halfords delivering a workshop.
The school also had a visit from the Extreme Mountain Bike Show.
The display team is billed as the UK & Europe’s number one mountain bike, trials/BMX demonstration ream.
It is led by multiple British and European mountain bike trials champion Danny Butler.
Head teacher Ian Mottram said: “It was brilliant to see all the children getting involved by bringing their bikes or scooters and most importantly their helmets.”
