Annual Richmond Rotary art exhibition to be held at The Station

Richmond Rotary Club’s annual charities art exhibition will be held at The Station in Richmond from November 2 to November 30.

This is the event’s seventh year and a wide variety of artwork will be on display from many Northern artists.

The money raised by Rotary from sales will go to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Mercy Ships and other local charities.

There will be a preview night on Saturday, November 2 from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Baroness Harris of Richmond will open the exhibition.

This will provide am opportunity to meet some of the artists. No tickets are required and admission is £5 per person at the door which will include wine and savouries.

Richmond Rotarian Richard Gibson, who has helped organise the event, said: “It’s great to have an exhibition where such a diverse range of talented local artists can display their work in such a wonderful venue.”

Rotary president Chris Kirby said: “We are delighted that this exhibition will not only give visitors to The Station through November a lot of pleasure but will also provide valuable support to such worthwhile causes.”
