
The latest figures show that another 15 people have died with Covid-19 in Richmondshire — including nine who have died in the district’s care homes.
The data released today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that 31 people have lost their lives potentially due to the coronavirus in the district.
There have now been 126 confirmed cases of the virus in Richmondshire, giving a rate of 236.6 cases per 100,000 people, according to separate Public Health England statistics.
The ONS statistics show that up until May 8:
- Twenty people from the district died in hospital with Covid-19
- Ten people have died in a care home
- One person died at home
The data includes all deaths, where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate, that occurred up to May 8 but were registered up to May 16.
Only one death relating to Covid-19 in a care home had been recorded up until April 24, with the other nine deaths occurring between April 25 and May 8.
Of the 31 deaths of Richmondshire residents, all occurred after March 29, according to the data. [kofi]

If the figures given are correct and also honest, there were 126 confirmed and 31 deaths, so you should be able to assume 95 recovered unless some of those are still ill with the virus.
