Police are appealing for information following a burglary on the outskirts of Cleasby in which a motorbike was stolen.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2.45pm on Friday, April 10 and 5.45am on Saturday, April 11.
During the burglary, a red 250cc Apollo Thunder dirt bike was taken from the property.
Officers are asking residents to report anything suspicious seen or heard in the area during that time, and are particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that may have captured the incident or unusual activity nearby.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 12260064747.
Police have also issued crime prevention advice following the incident, urging residents to ensure doors and windows are securely locked overnight, keep valuables out of sight, and consider installing security lighting.
