Appeal after horse trailer stolen

Police aew appealing for information after a horse trailer was stolen from a building near Newsham.

Between 6pm on Wednesday, July 20 and 8.30am on Saturday, July 23, a maroon coloured Ifor Williams horse trailer was stolen from an agricultural building on the B6275 (Piercebridge Road) close to the Newsham/Eppleby crossroads.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about any individuals or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area around this time.”
