
Police are appealing for information about an “altercation” between two men in their 60s.
The incident happened in Darlingtonn Road, Richmond, near to the junction of Whitefields Drive at around 4.45pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “The incident involved two men in their 60s who were involved in an altercation which spilled into the road.
“One of the men was wearing a distinctive red parka style coat and was walking a small dog.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
It is understood police have identified the two men involved but are still looking for witnesses to the incident.
