Appeal after motorbike stolen from Gayle

Police are appealing for information following the theft of motorbike from a garden shed in Gayle near Hawes.

The incident happened on Little Ings between 4.15am and 5am on Wednesday.

Entry was forced to a shed in the rear garden of a property and a white Yamaha TY80 trials bike was stolen.

Officers are now asking for the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “In particular, we are appealing for information about a small white van that had a roof rack on that was seen in the area around the time of the incident.”
