Appeal after vandalism in Wensleydale village

Police have appealed for information after vandalism in Wensley.

A wooden bench in the Wensley Community Garden broken into several pieces and thrown into the nearby stream.

A caravan near the garden, next to White Rose Candles, also had its windows smashed.

The damage is thought to have occurred sometime over the Jubilee weekend of Saturday or Sunday, June 4 or 5.

  1. There’s some lowlife about these days who have to destroy things. Bring back a a stint in the army for anyone caught. This country is too soft and too many do-gooders that’s why we are in this situation.
