Police are appealing for information following the theft of a significant quantity of fencing from a rural location near Dalton Gates.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 6pm on Tuesday, March 31 and 7.30am on Wednesday, April 1 at Vince Moor West, where the fencing had been stored in a field.
Officers say the scale of the चोरी suggests the items would have been transported using a large vehicle, and they are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during that time.
They are asking for information about any people or vehicles spotted near the site overnight, which could assist with ongoing enquiries.
Anyone with information is urged to email lindsey.watson@northyorkshire.police.uk.
Alternatively, members of the public can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Lindsey Watson, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
