Appeal after pick-up stolen in burglary at Piercebridge

Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Piercebridge, near Darlington.

The incident occurred at a secluded property just outside the village sometime between January 5 and 18.

The offenders forced entry to a first floor window to gain access to the property and stole various items, including the occupant’s red Mitsubishi L200 Warrior pick up.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about anyone that has been seen acting suspiciously in the village of Piercebridge during the dates mentioned or anyone that has seen a red Mitsubishi L200 Warrior pick up in the area.”
