Police are appealing for information following a series of incidents involving anti-social behaviour and criminal damage at a property in Colburn.
Officers are investigating reports that three girls repeatedly targeted the address, kicking the front door on several occasions.
On Thursday, July 30, CCTV captured the trio attending the property at around 8.09pm, 8.13pm and 9.35pm, where they allegedly kicked the front door.
Police believe the same three girls may also have been involved in an earlier incident on July 21, when damage was caused to the door, as well as another report of minor damage on July 20.
Because of the apparent age of those involved, North Yorkshire Police say they are unable to release the CCTV images publicly.
The girls are described as:
- A female aged about 14 to 15, wearing a pink hoodie, blue shorts and sunglasses.
- A female aged about 14 to 15, wearing a white hoodie and white trousers with black spots.
- A female aged about 14 to 15, wearing a black Berkeley hoodie and blue shorts.
Police said the CCTV also appears to show the girls filming the incidents on their mobile phones. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who recognises those involved or has seen videos of the incidents being shared on social media or other online platforms.
Anyone who witnessed the incidents, has CCTV, doorbell, dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area, or has any other information that could assist the investigation, is asked to contact the officer in charge by emailing nabiel.galab@northyorkshire.police.uk.
