Scarlett Macfarlane, business development manager at Purple Creative, who nominated Maisy, said: “I nominated Maisy because of the amazing contribution she has made to the team and how much she has grown in confidence over the course of the year.

“This is particularly impressive as so much of Maisy’s time was spent working remotely.”

The Rising Star of The Year award celebrates apprentices that have made impressive progress in their career and have the potential to go even further.

Regional ceremonies will be broadcast live from Tuesday, October 19, with winners going on to the National Apprenticeship Awards later in the year, which show off a range of sectors and success stories of those who have embraced their apprenticeships.
