Several people have been arrested as North Yorkshire Police as part of a crackdown on suspected drug-related crime in the Catterick and Colburn areas.
The latest operation took place on Wednesday, July 1, when officers from the Neighbourhood Support Unit and Catterick Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a drugs warrant at an address in Colburn.
During a search of the property, officers recovered quantities of suspected Class A and Class B drugs, drug-related paraphernalia and cash.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and on suspicion of drug-driving. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The action follows another incident in the early hours of Tuesday, June 30, when response officers carrying out proactive patrols in Catterick Garrison stopped and searched a 19-year-old man.
A quantity of cannabis was found, and following further enquiries he was dealt with by way of an out-of-court disposal.
Earlier in the month, on Thursday, June 11, officers carried out a separate drugs warrant at another address in Colburn.
During searches, police recovered a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, cash and several mobile phones.
A 42-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and a 64-year-old woman were arrested in connection with that investigation. All three have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
