An exhibition to commemorate the centenary of the First World War featuring work by two local artists has opened at The Station in Richmond.

Art by Caroline Shepherd, who is ex-military, and Jennifer Richardson, who is from a services family, will be on display until November 1.

The event will raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

Their work will commemorate the centenary and those who have lost their lives serving with the forces.

It also features animals which helped with the war effort.

Both artists will be at Thee Station on Saturday, October 27 to talk to visitors about their work.
