Art exhibition exploring isolation to be held by Richmond Methodist Church

Richmond Methodist Church is holding will hold first art exhibition as part of its Mindful May initiative next month.

The initiative will include a programme of events contemplating age, memory and mindfulness.

The exhibition, entitled Isolation, includes works by local amateur and professional artists, exploring the complex subjects of social isolation, bereavement and solitude.

There is a launch night on Friday, May 11 at 6pm  to 8pm at Richmond Methodist Church.

This is an opportunity to browse the work and get some information about local projects and events that aim to combat isolation, and encourage mindfulness and relaxation.

All are welcome, and refreshments will be available.

Other events in Mindful May include art and animation workshops, coffee mornings and a spring Fair on Monday, May 28.
