The Station in Richmond is seeking amateur, emerging and experienced artists to exhibit in this year’s Spot on the Wall.

After a year’s break in 2017, which saw the prestigious Manchester Academy of Fine Arts exhibition, A Spot on the Wall returns to The Station this summer and will host a huge variety of amateur and professional artists.

The exhibition runs from Saturday, July 21 to Wednesday, September 5, and gives visitors to The Station an ever-changing display of art to enjoy, and purchase, in a wide range of media, from photography and oils, to watercolours, acrylics, ceramics and textiles.

This story continues after the adverts:

“This is a great opportunity for artists to reach out to a large number of customers over the summer holidays,” said gallery co-ordinator, Thea Treweek.

“As a piece of art is sold from the artist’s spot, they replace it with another.

“This is great for the artist, as there are virtually unlimited opportunities for sales, but it is also great for visitors, as the exhibition looks different every time.”
