The Station in Richmond is seeking amateur, emerging and experienced artists and photographers to exhibit in this year’s extended Spot on the Wall exhibition.
The exhibition will run from Saturday, November 28 to Wednesday, February 3, 2021, and gives visitors to The Station an ever-changing display of art to enjoy and purchase, in a wide range of media.
Jemma Gregory, communications coordinator for The Station, said: “Through this exhibition, The Station gathers together a fantastic range of talented artists.
“Whether the artist is a first time exhibitor, or they have been exhibiting for years, as a profession or a hobby, they sit side by side on the walls of the prestigious old station building.
“As well as this, as a piece of art is sold from the artist’s spot, they can replace it with another, meaning there are virtually unlimited opportunities for sales.
“For visitors to The Station, the exhibition looks different every time.Gallery co-ordinator, Jennifer Rasbeary, says “I am so excited to see the range of art and meet everyone that gets involved. It is so amazing to see an exhibition that incorporates new and emerging artists alongside experienced ones.
“Getting Back on Track with art exhibitions at The Station means the building can come back to life again.”
As a special offer, to celebrate The Station’s Gallery’s reopening after five months of closure due to Covid-19, artists will be able to exhibit for double the amount of time for the same price.
