Aske businesses work together on events programme

Two neighbouring businesses based on the Zetland Estate just outside Richmond have joined forces to create a programme of events to appeal to locals and tourists.

Café and chocolatier Mocha are working with Kiss the Moon, who sell a range the includes aromatherapy, sleepwear, wellness gifts and bedside essentials.

Events run April through to September with egg decorating workshops at Mocha and and the chance to win a giant bunny at Mocha while Kiss the Moon will be offering hand massages and special offers as part of their April 17 to 22 Treat your Hands week campaign.

May dates for the diary include a design a chocolate competition at Mocha as part of their Coronation celebrations and a spring look make-up evening event featuring make-up artist Jo Leversuch at Kiss the Moon on the May 24.

Jo Foster, owner of Kiss the Moon said: “We feel so lucky to be based in such a beautiful, rural setting and this time of year is a chance to experience it in its full natural glory.

“Our hope is that in our event programme tempts more people to visit and enjoy this beautiful corner of the North Yorkshire countryside.”

Mocha’s owner, Liz Graves, said: “Brilliant things can happen when small independent businesses work together.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Kiss the Moon help create a schedule of fun experiences that locals and visitors alike can enjoy and that help people make the most of the Spring and Summer months ahead.”

Other activities scheduled include workshops, guest speakers, one-to-one treatments, themed dinners, special offers and in-store only promotions.
