Aske clinic takes delivery of new skin treatment machine

An Aske health clinic has a new skin treatment machine thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Dermalux Compact LED Lite is a medically registered light energy machine designed to improve how the skin feels, looks and works.

It is now being used by Kathy Scott, owner of the Ginger Tree Skin Clinic.

The machine aims to help reduce breakouts, reduce pigmentation, target fine lines, improve skin tone, rejuvenate the skin and calm redness.

Kathy said: “As the Compact is a stand-alone treatment that people can use independently, ie they don’t need me, it means my treatment room and appointment times are not tied up with straightforward, hands-off treatments, and I am able to focus on advanced facials and holistic treatments.”

The clinic recently won the Best One Person Business at the Richmond Business Excellence Awards.

Kathy Scott has previously won awards with the BABTAC and CIBTAC and was recently invited to judge and speak at the Professional Beauty UK awards in London.

While skin is Kathy’s focus, she said she also helped to “heal, rejuvenate and restore clients’ health by addressing the body, mind, heart, spirit”.

This can be experienced through touch therapies such as reflexology, massage, crystals, aromatherapy and auricular therapy.
