Aske digital firm launches scheme to help local businesses during lockdown

Aske-based digital agency Purple Creative Studio is launching an initiative to help small businesses during the lockdown.

Participants taking part in the Lockdown Review Loop are asked to leave a positive review for a small business they would like to support.

Digital marketing team leader Emma Nesham said: “The idea of the initiative is to not only help raise the reputation of some fab small businesses but also to give those business owners the boost they maybe need to keep going.

“We also understand that not everyone has the extra cash to spend right now – but that doesn’t mean there aren’t things that you can do to show your support – reviews play a huge part in helping small businesses gain new customers so the 30 seconds it takes to leave some kind words makes a huge difference.”

Purple Creative Studio have been assisting small businesses throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, with digital marketing support and new website platforms to ensure they are able to continue trading online as effectively as possible.

The plan behind the initiative is for participants to review three or more small businesses, and then ask those business owners to review others – thereby creating a chain of reviews.

Customer recommendations and reviews help small businesses to rank higher within both Facebook and Google search.

To get involved with the Review Loop all you need to do is complete the following steps:

  1. Decide on 3 (or more!) small businesses you would like to support
  2. Track them down on Facebook or Google Reviews
  3. Leave some kind words of support
  4. At the end of your review add ‘Please continue the Review Loop by reviewing 3 of your favourite small businesses – see the Purple Creative Studio website for more information.’
