There were celebrations in Askrigg on Saturday after the village team reached the semi-final of the Dales Cup.
Two goals from George Cockerill and one from Jack Dalton gave the Wensleydale League side a 3-1 lead at half-time in their tie against Travaux FC.
Travaux game back in the second half to take the game to penalties, but Askrigg kept their nerve to secure the win.
They will play Richmond Town Reserves, who beat their club’s Over 35s team in another game which was decided on spot-kicks.
The match had finished 4-4 after extra-time with teenager Riley Lister bagging a brace for the reserves, and Tom Gilroy and Joe Shields also netting.
Unicorn’s fine season continued on Saturday when they progressed in the cup thanks to a 3-1 win over Carperby.
They will play either Hawes or Richmond Town Academy in the second semi-final after they beat Leyburn last month.
