Award-winning comedian rob rouse brings new tour show to richmond

Award-winning stand-up comedian Rob Rouse is bringing his brand-new tour show, Funny Bones, to the Georgian Theatre Royal following a successful year on the UK comedy circuit.

Rob has recently been named Comics’ Comic – Best Act of the Year 2025 at the UK Comedy Awards, a prestigious accolade voted for by fellow comedians.

He has also taken home Best Act at the 2025 Yorkshire Comedy Awards, cementing his reputation as one of the most respected and consistently funny performers in British comedy.

A familiar face from television and radio, Rob’s extensive credits include Upstart Crow, 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Friday Night Project and Dave’s One Night Stand. He first came to prominence after winning Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny? Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1998 and has since enjoyed more than 25 years at the top of his game. The Sunday Times once described him as “a man with genuinely funny bones”.

His latest live show, Funny Bones, promises a high-energy, laugh-packed evening featuring Rob’s trademark joyful silliness, masterful storytelling, pitch-perfect characters and a constant stream of jokes. The show is a celebration of comedy and life itself, with Rob determined to send audiences home smiling.

Tickets for the performance on March 27 are selling fast, the theatre says.
