A free photographic exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales is now open at the Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn.

On display are the finalists in a photography competition run by venue and charity Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT), which showcases photographs taken by talented amateur photographers.

Visitors will be able to vote for the overall winning entry, and the victorious photographer will receive a prize of photographic vouchers worth £100 and a Yorkshire Dales hamper.

Alison Tennant, director of The Garden Rooms at Tennants commented: “There are some exceptionally talented amateur photographers in the Yorkshire Dales, and we look forward sharing their creativity with our visitors.”

The exhibition runs until August 14.
