A Richmondshire beauty therapist is using state-of-the-art technology to reveal her client’s true skin condition.
Kathy Scott at Ginger Tree Holistic Health and Beauty, at Aske Stables, near Richmond, has invested in a Observ skin diagnostic tool.
The equipment uses UV lights to reveal the condition of the skin below the surface.
This story continues after the adverts:
This allows Kathy to discover her clients’ true skin condition, highlight previously hidden issues and propose suitable treatments.
The equipment can reveal previously hidden damage caused by the sun, as well as areas of dehydrated skin, plugged pores, skin irritations, thinned skin areas, wrinkle formations and a range of other potential issues.
Kathy said the technology gave her and her clients the ability to analysis skin condition in a way never done before.
She added: “It gives you the confidence that how you’re looking after your skin is working for you.
“You can see progress and mage changes if necessary. It also means you can make sure you’re spending your money on the right treatments.”
Kathy will demonstrate the Observ equipment at Ginger Tree on Thursday, April 19 between 6pm and 8pm.
All those who attend will have the opportunity to have their face photographed by the Observ machine.
They can then book a free 40-minute appointment to discuss the results.
