
A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after coming off their bike in the Dales today.
The incident occurred in Arkengarthdale near Reeth at around midday.
The rider suffered serious injuries.
They was treated at the scene by a Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) doctor and paramedic, and a crear from Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
They were then flown to James Cook Hospital in Middlebrough by the GNAA team.
North Yorkshire Police also attended the incident.
