Bin collections delayed due to snow

All refuse and recycling collections have been cancelled today, council officials say.

Recycling collections were due to take place in some areas in Richmond, Easby, Brompton on Swale, Scorton, Ellerton, Forest and Moulton will be taken at the next scheduled recycling collection day.

Household waste collections in Upper and Lower Wensleydale due to take place today have been rescheduled for tomorrow.

Householders are asked to leave their bin at their collection point until our crews have been.

A spokesperson added: “Please leave your bin out and we will return as soon as possible and check richmondshire.gov.uk for updates.”
